|James D. Agresti, a New Jersey native and resident for 38 years, is the president of Just Facts, a non-profit research and education institute dedicated to researching, documenting and publishing verifiable facts on the critical issues of our time.|
Mr. Agresti holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University, and has worked as a designer of jet aircraft engines, a technical sales professional, and chief engineer of a firm that customizes helicopters.
In 1997, seeing a need for substantive information not being offered by the mainstream press, Mr. Agresti and his brother Thomas V. Agresti established the website www.justfacts.com. Over the ensuing ten years, Just Facts grew in readership and influence, serving millions of visitors and being cited by government entities at the local, state and national levels, universities, non-profit organizations, newspapers and radio shows.
In 2007, Mr. Agresti formalized Just Facts as a corporate entity in the state of New Jersey and was approved by the IRS for nonprofit status. The same year, Mr. Agresti left his career in engineering to develop Just Facts into a full-fledged research and education institute.
